Dillon airs TV spot in Michigan governor's race

Michigan House Speaker Andy Dillon of Redford has joined the candidates airing TV ads with his first spot "Growing Michigan's Economy."


Dillon is one of two Democrats seeking the party nomination for governor in the Aug. 3 primary. The other is Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero.



Republicans seeking the GOP nomination in August are Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra, Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder, Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox and state Sen. Tom George.
