U.S. Rep. Peters plans stop in Auburn Hills

  U.S. Rep. Gary Peters will join U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke at ALTe in Auburn Hills  Wednesday to talk with local businesses about job creation and discuss services offered by the Commerce Department. Locke and Peters will also be joined by state and local economic development partners.

  They will be at ALTe's headquarters at 4425 Purks Road in Auburn Hills for a 10:30 a.m. display with the program beginning at 10:45 a.m.
  Peters' district represents Pontiac, Lake Angelus, Auburn Hills, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake, Orchard Lake, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills, Rochester, Troy, Clawson, Royal Oak, Berkley, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Franklin, Farmington, Farmington Hills, and the townships of Southfield, Waterford, West Bloomfield, Oakland and part of Orion.
  Peters, a Bloomfield Township Democrat, is finishing his first term in Congress and is up for re-election.
  His opponents in November are Republican Rocky Raczkowski, Libertarian Adam Goodman, Green Party candidate Douglas Campbell and independent candidates Bob Gray and Matthew Kuofie.
